Trash to Treasure is Funding!

Hello and happy spooky season everyone!

I hope you've been able to sneak in some games of LOOP with some delicious fall snacks as the cool weather blows in! Careful though, I hear the cold makes the creature even hungrier. I'm cruising in today with one of our biannual games announcements:

We launched a new game today called Trash to Treasure, a fast-paced, lightweight tabletop role playing about trash-powered magical girl goblins who fight evil and clean up the environment. It's inspired by Rowan, Rook and Decard's Eat the Reich, which translates to a fast-paced, lightweight system that rewards your goblin shenanigans with an ever-growing pool of dice to roll!

You can learn more by clinking the link above or the image below!

Cheers, and happy gaming!

Happy Monday everyone!

I Crave the Loop Shipping Updates

I've started to receive messages that orders are arriving! Last week we shipped out all orders that do not have sticker pages in them, so if you didn't have a sticker bundle in your order, keep an eye on the post!

For those of you who are waiting on sticker bundles, good news! We've resolved the tech issues preventing us from printing the sticker sheets and we should be finished printing them tomorrow. We expect to drop those orders off at the post office by Friday.

As always, if there is anything missing from your order or if you need assistance, please reach out to us here on Kickstarter or at [email protected] and we'll get you sorted out!

I'm really excited to see these games out in the world and to hear about your daring escapes from It That Hungies. Thank you for supporting I Crave the Loop and helping us make this creepy-cute roguelike a reality!

What's Next:

If you'd like to keep up with our future projects, I highly recommend joining the Bright Bard Games Mailing List. If you'd like to stay apprised of our future games, it's a great way to stay in the Loop (pun intended).

We send out a monthly mailer that'll keep you up to date with our upcoming game releases, progress and updates on existing games, convention appearances, merch, and more!

On that note:

Get Feral, Fight Pollution:

Our next crowdfunding project is Trash to Treasure, a Trash Goblin Magical Girl RPG!

Take on the mantle of a trash goblin leading a double life as a magical girl. Granted incredible magical powers by the city's elemental dragons, it's your job to save them from corporate pollution before it's too late!

The game is a riff on the Havoc system, as seen in Rowan, Rook and Decard's Eat the Reich. That translates to a lightweight, d6 dice pool system focused on high-action fight scenes with the forces of evil in the city and slice-of-life interludes with a twist of goblin shenanigans.

Trash to Treasure will be crowdfunding starting on October 14th, so please follow and share the page if you're interested! Stay tuned to our socials to learn more in the coming weeks.

Thank you again!

That's it for today I think! I can't overstate how much we appreciate y'alls enthusiastic support of our games, and I hope to see you soon!

Cheers,

Jon and Bri

Happy Thursday everyone!

Bri and I are back from Gen Con and rested up, which means we're working on shipping out games!

If you've received an email with tracking information, it just means we've printed your label. Some packages may sit around for a few days while we finish packing up orders, so don't worry if you see tracking and it's not moving yet.  In general, orders will probably be taken to the post office on Monday.

Domestic (US) labels have all been printed, and are likely to go out first. International labels have not been printed, as those orders will be taken straight to the post office next week. We're still waiting on some sticker paper to arrive to finish printing the sticker packs, so if your order contained one of those, it may go out a little bit later than the others.

Most or all of our orders will be shipped out next week, which means I Crave the Loop should be in your hands by the end of the month! We're very excited to see them out in the world and hear about your clean escapes, near misses, and eldritch loop carnage. You can tag us @ResidentBard or @Bridanann on most socials, we'd love to hear about your games!

That's pretty much it for Loop today, but we do have another announcement:

Trash to Treasure, A Trash Goblin Magical Girl RPG is our next crowdfunding project!

Take up the mantle of a (slightly feral) magical goblin and help save a city corrupted by corporate pollution. As a trash gobbo, your magic is fueled by garbage, so deck yourself out in your favorite recyclables, garbage, or compost and make magic!

Follow the page here to see when we go live in October!

That's all for today!

I'll post an update when we've shipped out the last of our packages. Have a great weekend y'all!

Cheers,

Jon and Bri <3

Books ordered, last call for changing orders
4 months ago – Mon, Jul 22, 2024 at 06:21:16 PM

Hey all!

It's been a very busy day (with a lot of driving to the printer), but I'm delighted to show you this beautiful book:

We received the proof from our printers today and have approved the full print run! You can also peep the printed maps underneath the book. We'll be able to pick up the books from the printer this week, but thanks to Gen Con, will not be able to ship them out until our return. Again, expect books to start coming your way in mid-late August.

I've also sent out the final notice for BackerKit surveys! If you want to make any last minute changes to your surveys, you have until Wednesday evening, US Central to do it. After that we'll push through shipping charges and be ready to go when we return from the convention! I'm very excited to have these out in the world!

Speaking of Gen Con, if you plan to attend this year, you can find Bri and I at booth 2855:

If you're attending, come say hi and check out some of our new game releases for the show! We'll be hanging out with the amazing folks over at Possum Creek Games, so there'll be lots of goodies to be found there including the newly released Yazeba's Bed and Breakfast!.

That's it for today! I'll keep y'all posted when we charge cards later this week, and when we're getting ready to ship post-convention.

Cheers,

Jon and Bri <3
